The Team Tiger Adventure begins by encouraging parents to engage in a meaningful conversation with their children about the concept of teamwork. Together, they explore what it truly means to be part of a team and discuss the teams their child is already a member of, such as their den, pack, family, or school. This conversation will help Cub Scouts understand how they can contribute and make a positive impact within each team.
An integral part of the Team Tiger Adventure is fostering teamwork within the Cub Scout den. Youth will have the opportunity to work alongside their fellow Tigers, discussing and understanding the dynamics of their Tiger team. Through the creation of a chart, they will explore the different ways team members can support and assist the den. Tiger Cub Scouts are encouraged to take on leadership roles, such as leading the Pledge of Allegiance, and volunteer for various tasks, as this promotes cooperation and shared responsibility within the den.
The Team Tiger Adventure goes beyond the den and family, allowing Tiger Cub Scouts to make a positive impact on their community and country. They will participate in a service project, experiencing the power of collective effort and understanding the importance of giving back.
